Sheboygan Showcases Wisconsin Elks

Wisconsin Elks welcomed us at the Sheboygan Lodge No. 299 for a wonderful weekend of Wisconsin Elks accomplishments, friendship, and great food!  Known for achievements in Elks National Foundation, the Wisconsin Elks also support a Benevolence Fund and their state Major Project.  Mary Carolyn was treated to a tour of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and won the 50/50 raffle at the Ladies Luncheon!

Colorado – Mile High Elks

The Colorado Elks hosted a wonderful weekend for us in Denver!  Most impressive was their state major project, Laradon Hall that services over 600 developmentally disabled children and adults.  The lady PER’s challenged the PDDGER’s to a ritual contest.  Both teams (and their coaches) left a positive impressive.  PGER Dwayne and Sandy Rumney were gracious hosts along with state president Ray Ross and Amie!

ALASKA – SPECTACULAR IN EVERY WAY, Aug. 30 – Sept. 6, 2009

Words cannot describe the beauty of the land, and we saw only the southeast! Peopled by generous, friendly, lovely, super Alaskaites, this is much like a vacation.

 

 

 

 

HUSKERS OF NEBRASKA, Aug. 27 – 29, 2009

With great warmth, Nebraska Elks allow me on the golf course and into their pockets for Elks National Foundation. We learn a lot about Elkdom and how it should be done. Weather and flights again almost perfect. Oh, if we could bottle this for February!
